Mark Gregory and Tammie Jann (the
Bride’s parents)
We want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all of
your hard work on this wedding. Mom, thank you for all of your
work on the catering, flowers, and all the other wonderful details
that you’ve labored over to make our wedding a celebration
worth sharing. Dad, thank you for supporting Mom during these
hectic times and making sure that our guests have a host to entertain
them when they get here, making our already unbelievable wedding
even more so for our guests from around the country.
Finally, your financial support and amazing attitude will make
this an event to remember not only for Eric and I, but for our
far-reaching guests that will be joining us. A thousand times,
THANK YOU.
Don’t worry Dad, I’ll always be your little girl,
and now you’ve got another son!
Martha and Rich Huyler
(the Groom’s parents)
We want to send out a genuine Thank You to you for ensuring that
the important people in Eric’s life will be attending our
wedding. We know the effort, concentration and financial support
that you’ve donated to this amazing cause and we couldn’t
be happier that Eric’s Grandmother and Aunt will be joining
us for this momentous occasion. Thank you for your good spirits,
attention to detail and asking us tons of questions so that we
were sure not to miss a beat. We appreciate all that you’ve
done to make sure that it will be a wonderful day for everyone.
This would not have been possible with out your love and support!
Cecilia Jann (Grandma Jann)
Passed Away in 2003
Cecilia, or Grandma Jann, as we knew her would have been thrilled
to join us. Unfortunately, she passed away the same year I moved
to Seattle, so I didn’t get to say goodbye to her. Thank
you for showing me every card game you knew, and making afghans
for my Barbie dolls and as I got older, blankets for me as a keepsake.
I find myself missing you and think I should give you a call and
tell you about the wedding plans. And just for the record, you
did a pretty darn good job with Dad. Thanks for that. I love you,
we all miss you and we wish you could be here with us.
Patricia Mott (Aunt Pat)
Passed Away in 2003
Auntie, we had our ups and downs with the family in your later
years, but I’m sorry that you won’t be there to add
you quips and wicked sense of humor to every situation. You took
incredibly good care of my sweet pug in her last years and made
sure she and her brother had little portions of whatever you were
eating that night. In the early years of my life you took good
care of my Mom and provided a haven for her to escape to for a
weekend. You were a funny, strange, and amusing older woman as
well, we all used to tease you about how you looked like Maxine
from the Hallmark cards. I’ll always remember your bunny
slippers. I’m sorry you can’t be here with us. We’ll
miss you.
Pugsy Jann (Mrs. Kisses)
Passed Away in 2002
Pugsy was my first pug, and dog. She passed away after I moved
to Seattle. You were my cohort, best friend and nurse maid growing
up. You kissed away all of my frustrated teenage tears. Thank
you for showing me what the love an animal could be. I think of
you often, and since you didn’t bite Eric when you met him,
I assume that you approve of him and would be happy to see us
marry. We miss you!!
